I started this group because I wanted to play boardgames on Wednesday nights in SE Portland. Since you don't need to RSVP, the number of players on a given night will vary. It's more of a free-form, do-what-you-want event than a reservation-style one. Don't be fooled by our classiness! We play it all; Euros, casual games, classic games, etc. Bring some games, have fun and say hi to each other!
If you've been curious about European/Non-traditional board games, (also called Euros), or simply want to meet new people, join us! There's quite a few gaming groups in Portland already, but after hosting my own co-ed group for several years I've found that not nearly as many women as men game so I decided to start this group as an alternative. New players and all ages/orientations of women are welcome. Those who want to teach a specific game to the group are particularly encouraged to contact m …
Our group fosters community and meetups for card players outside the Poker tables (Poker is well-covered by many other meetups). Meet nearby players and enjoy friendly competition. Play old favorites and try out new ones. We can play and teach well known card games like Spades, Hearts, Euchre, Bid Whist, Pinochle, Cribbage, Big Two, and Tarot, as well as similar tile games like Mah-Jong and Dominos, but our house of cards offers many more games than just these! Don't miss Tichu, D …

This group is for people who love video games. From the NES and Sega Genesis to Wii and Xbox 360, gamers of all kinds are welcome here. I'm hoping to get some awesome meetups going, with things like tournaments or maybe even dances with video game music. So yeah, if you're a gamer in the Portland area, definitely feel free to join!
Come out and make new friends with some card playing folk who like Canasta. Remember playing this card game as a kid? Well lets play again. Please join us.
… If you have a venue to offer for game nights or a super home theater setup for movies, please let me know, we can CoHost. Private house parties are encouraged! Pot lucks are easy! I'll help plan and organize if you need. Come on out and play, make some new friends, enjoy activities, comraderie, and entertainment with a slightly sophisticated edge.

This group started as a taste testing group, but we have too many interests and too much A.D.D. to focus on just one thing. So "Random Events and Whatnot" was born! (We were going to call it "The Portland Hodgepodge Medley of Random Events and Whatnot" but then we sobered up.) Here are some of the activities we have hosted: · Hiking · Storytelling · Taste Testing · Pot Luck Dinners · Glow in the Dark Night Frisbee · Book Club · Game Night · Movie Night/F …

So I decided to try and form a meetup group for women at a similar stage in life as myself to develop some new friendships. I would like to sched …
